PENGARUH WORK MEANINGFULNESS TERHADAP INTENTION TO STAY DI GENERASI Z

Penelitian ini diambil dari mengeksplorasi karakteristik pekerjaan yang bermakna bagi generasi Z dan pengaruhnya terhadap retensi karyawan. Kualitas intrinsik dari karakteristik pekerjaan akan menumbuhkan kebermaknaan pengalaman yang akhirnya meningkatkan niat karyawan untuk tetap tinggal. Maka dari itu tujuan penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengaruh work meaningfulness terhadap intention to stay di generasi Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan alat ukur kuisioner dengan sampel sebanyak 130 responden. Metode analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa job characteristics berpengaruh positif dengan work meaningfulness, job characteristics berpengaruh positif dengan intention to stay, dan work meaningfulness berpengaruh positif dengan intention to stay. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur tentang work meaningfulness dan generasi dengan melihat perilaku kerja generasi Z. Kebermaknaan yang dialami dapat meningkatkan keinginan generasi Z untuk bertahan dan mendukung keberlanjutan organisasi, sebuah organisasi dapat mempertahankan kelompok generasinya dengan menyediakan strategi jenis kerja yang selektif agar sesuai dengan karakteristik generasi.
